GAMAX (GMX) has been founded in 1990 by a group of software developers. As such, it is a software development company, with three major activities: manpower-leasing; software localization, translation and related software engineering tasks, and project realisation. Thanks to its highly qualified experts, GAMAX has taken part in several large-scale custom software development projects in the past few years. The company undertakes development on embedded systems, personal computer, mini-computer and mainframe environments, in most known programming languages and environments.

Within the last year GAMAX became more international and now works for customers in Central-Europe, USA, Australia, etc. GAMAX‘ biggest references are Siemens and IBM in Germany and General Electric in Hungary in the field of manpower-leasing. As for the field of software localisation, Microsoft, Oracle, Lotus and Novell are among its best references, while IBM represents its better client in the field of project realisation. GAMAX‘ specialists for software design and implementation have collected knowledge about agent technology within many projects in the area of manufacturing. The company is currently taking part in the ongoing FP6 project XPRESS and in the FP7 project COPERNICO.
